Morning, thank you so much for your engagement last week. Not only did it help me find new Followers, but as I work on my own from home, it really lifts my mood and puts a smile on my face when I see you enjoying the page.

Considering the temperatures we had last week and me living on my absolute last nerve, I can’t believe I managed to pull this together in time.

I literally could not do any prep at all. The kitchen was far too hot and so I couldn’t make the flowers ahead or buttercream the cake either. I couldn’t risk a disaster.

So on four hours sleep, I got up yesterday, pulled up my big girls pants and made sure Katie had the cake she’d asked for. To hear back from her yesterday telling me she was delighted was huge.

I’ve been doing this a long time and I’ve never known a week like it. Apologies too to those I’ve kept waiting on replies, I’ll catch up today.
