First time I met Helen (Oli’s Mom) was when she came round to the house to collect Oli’s Christening cake!! Christening cake!!
… and now, 18?? All those years. And throughout, myself and Helen have lots of shared personal memories too, not just cake occasions. My daughter performed at The Royal Albert Hall because of Helen and her husband Chris and their performing arts company! She’s been someone I’ve confided in at times when I’ve struggled and she’s also been someone who was never afraid to tell me to pull myself together too.
In return, I’ve delivered cakes when she’s been poorly and also listened when life gotten heavy. 18 years she’s had to deal with me because she likes my cakes, poor thing!
Birthdays, weddings and everything in between. Love you mate from Berecca (Oliver could never pronounce my name so his version stuck!) 😆
