Some of you may recognise this lovely lady… mum, grandma and previous landlady of the windmill Janet!🥰

She thought she could slip into retirement from the pub trade but not on our watch 👀

Amongst countless other things she does, Janet has become one of our chief food tasters at the billet (the best job we have going😊😋)

Festive menu starter… pulled ham hock on béchamel loaded toasted sourdough with a sticky marmalade drizzle

10/10 from mummy dear❤️

Our chefs were star struck again today… we had a very special visitor😱

Danny vs food or ‘rate my takeaway’ popped in unexpectedly this afternoon to give our ULTIMATE Yorkshire pudding challenge a go 😋

Chef Nicky may be smiling for the camera but he felt the pressure serving up our proper Yorkshire grub today😰

If anyone was wondering… he’s the real deal, no faking his videos and he’s as lovely as portrayed online. It was an absolute pleasure🤍

We’re really sorry if you didn’t manage to get a table this year — we know some of you have been on our waiting list for quite a while, and we wish we could fit you all in! 🎅🎄

But we do have some good news…

🎁 Our Boxing Day menu is now LIVE and bookings are OPEN! 🎁
