We welcome you to The White Swan located in the picturesque Yorkshire village of Wighil. Oozing charm and character The White Swan has large open fires, a two cosy bar areas and two larger dining rooms with a large beer garden that catches the sun throughout the day. We believe Yorkshire has the best produce available and we have built the menu at The White Swan on using the best local ingredients

from farms, suppliers and producers close to Wighill. We are also champions of Yorkshire ale and source all of our cask ales from breweries within a 25 mile radius. This is joined by a selection of fine wines, beers and lagers from around the world and a large selection of spirits. Tom Throup and the team welcome you to The White Swan Wighill for lunch, dinner, Sunday lunch or just a drink with friends.

Sorry for the late announcement but the move has been a long flog. Di and John would just like to thank all who attended our last farewell at the white Swan last week. May we thank you for all the best wishes, cards and gifts. Both of us have created some incredible memories and great friendships over the last eight and a half years. It’s good by for now

The End of an era!
That’s right folks!

Most are probably aware that our tenure at the White Swan is coming to an end. But we’re not there yet!

Contrary to belief, Our doors are still open for diners until Sunday 21st June when our Kitchen will be closed for final cleaning and our doors will continue to be open until Friday 26th June to empty those award winning barrels of ale

So keep on coming down!
