Being landladies… 🌸🏡

It’s not all paperwork, serving customers, paying bills and fixing things that mysteriously decide to break at the worst possible moment!

Sometimes being a landlady means getting your hands dirty, keeping the place looking beautiful, tackling the jobs that need doing, and generally wondering how on earth you ended up doing that job too 😂

But honestly, we love it. There’s something really satisfying about taking care of this beautiful property, creating a lovely home for someone else, and seeing all the little jobs come together.

Landladies by title, gardeners, decorators, plumbers, cleaners and problem-solvers by necessity! 😂💪🌷

Tasha, Momma P and Nana Winnie have made our garden a very beautiful place. However watering at 10.30pm at night is not my idea of fun. But i do it for you all to enjoy ☺️

Wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

So we all know i love a badge 😂 and a few months ago i added a new one to the set - an ‘Official F***y Fan’ badge. There are a few people in the last decade that have been massive supporters of what i do and i felt that a Badge and title of ‘Official F***y Fan’ is a small token that i can do in return.

Now these badges will be given out to people that i consider true F***y Fans, so if you want one, then be sure to make your face known every time im at a venue near you, and you could get one next!

So this is Jackie, aka Pissy Knickers …. A Hinckley Legend who has supported my journey for around 4.5 years now. She would attend my weekly Thursday bingos at the Baron religiously, and when those came to an end, as jumped in the car (with Bill behind the wheel) and followed me to Stoney Stanton, Ratby, and Syston. Not forgetting a Brunch in Leicester, and Shows in Nuneaton …. She takes some abuse, but Bingo wouldnt be the same without her! So heres to you Jackie Mitchell ! Congrats on being an ‘Official F***y Fan’

Today, we all said goodbye to a true legend—our Mick. ❤️

Mick knew exactly how the old Original should taste. He’d tell you when it was spot on, and he also knew when the barrel was nearly at its end.

We only knew Mick for a short time after taking on the pub nearly a year and half ago…
but the impression he left on our hearts is beyond words. To me, he was exactly how I imagine my own dad would have been at Mick’s age.

The pub won’t be the same without him, but we promise we’ll keep doing our very best to make your favourite drink just the way you liked it.
