Hey!
I disappeared again. Iāve been doing that a lot lately. But I have to be honest and let go of this fear of judgement/being a failure.
Itās so easy to spend your whole life thinking an achievement, figure in the bank, certain car on the drive, a viral post will solve the stress and worry in your nervous system but it never does.
The only true happiness in my life (outside of LG) is tuning in to the world around me, nature, friends, family, hobbies that spark my imagination and inquisitive mind. Most of these connections always made around a table full of good food.
Little Grazey was founded on my love for human connection. Sharing food and celebrating special occasions and being in the moment. Food is so powerful It can be a staple to start conversations and unmask with the people you feel safest with. Over time, because of my own struggles too, I have lost sight of that. The message of Little Grazey has also been clouded by the struggle to survive in this climate.
I am not closing, but there is going to be a huge pivot. I log onto my phone sometimes and see horrific things, people with incredible highs and there never seems to be any lows. Everything feels so desensitised. Majority of what you consume is fake, AI is used to easily and really takes away from genuine, authentic, creative people
The current climate is going to cripple our high streets, not because we donāt have the support from our amazing customers or passion, skill, drive and determination but because of the disconnect it takes to be busy alongside the constant financial strains of running a business when every week (probably every day) thereās a new added pressure to keeping the doors open. Itās so easy to put on a front, to pretend nothings wrong and everythingās great even when it isnāt.
Iām excited to make these changes and I am scared of people being disappointed/ angry/ losing customers because some services will have to cease to exist.
I havenāt made any changes yet and this will be a slow process as I need to be kind and patient with myself.
Some changes you may not even notice. But the easiest way to get understanding is to be honest, open and transparent. So there we go. Big deep breath, feet in the grass and we CARRY ON.
The message of Little Grazey is SO important to me. Grab your mum, your mates, your dad, that person you promised to meet up with but life got in the way. Get together over a pot noodle, bag of crisps, share a cookie, an LG sarnie š Whatever it is. CONNECT with your community.
Thankyou for supporting this business Iām so excited for the future of Little Grazey and whatās to come for me, Hannah x
The best things in life are truly free, singing birds and laughing bees š
