On Wednesday 12th August, a rare celestial event will be lighting up the skies as a solar eclipse takes place. 🌙☀️

And honestly… where better to enjoy it than from our patio?

Come and settle in between 6–8pm, enjoy some good food, a cold drink and hopefully catch a glimpse of something pretty spectacular happening above us. 🌌

A little bit of sunshine, a little bit of moonlight and a lovely evening at the pub… sounds like a pretty good Wednesday to us. 💛

Who’s ready for another weekend of live music? 🎶💛

We’ve got a cracking weekend lined up and we can’t wait to welcome some familiar faces back to The Kings Head!

🎸 Saturday | 6pm
Hoolah Groove are back! Expect a brilliant evening of live music, great atmosphere and the perfect excuse to gather your friends and kick off the weekend.

🎤 Sunday | 4pm
Open Mic returns to the patio with our brilliant duo Tim & Ian.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just fancy sitting back and enjoying the incredible local talent, it’s always one of our favourite afternoons of the month. A huge thank you to Tim and Ian for keeping this fantastic community event going.

So, who’s joining us this weekend? Music, familiar faces, good food and hopefully a little sunshine… sounds like the perfect combination to us! ☀️🎶💛
