Forte's Ice Cream Parlour Mumbles ‘Where a taste of the past is a step into the present!’ Forte's Ice Cream Parlour is a golden gem of Mumbles.
(201)

The business first set up in The Mumbles in 1936 by the Macari family which i am pleased to say is still own by the Macari family 4 generations down the line. It's famous for its homemade ice cream which is also the recipe from 1936 which as i am sure most people will agree is absolutely mouth watering. Forte's had a few Cafe's in The Mumbles, most people remember the Cafe in Oystermouth Square and the one opposite the Tivoli but sadly only one remains now which is located right at the end of the Mumbles Road overlooking Limeslade Bay. Forte's now offer a delicious food menu varying from homemade Italian Specialties to mega English Breakfasts and then beautiful desserts.

What a day… 💙🍦

We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to celebrate 90 years of Fortes with us today.

The support and kindness shown to us was more than we could ever have imagined, and seeing so many familiar faces alongside new ones too made the day incredibly special for our whole family.

From the cake, to the fizz and ice creams, it was amazing to see everyone enjoying the celebrations as much as we did ✨

Today meant so much to us, and we truly hope we’ve done the generations before us proud by continuing the Fortes tradition.

Here’s to the memories we’ve shared, the community that continues to support us, and hopefully many more years of Fortes to come 💙

Three generations, one very special moment 🎉🍦💙
