107 years ago today, Adelina Patti died at her beloved Craig-y-Nos Castle in the Upper Swansea Valley…

But how much of her incredible story can still be found today?

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been on a journey of discovery to find out more about one of the Victorian era’s biggest superstars... Adelina Patti

Along the way, I uncover her rise to international fame, her extraordinary life in Wales, royal visitors, her private theatre and railway carriage, how she pioneered electricity, the story surrounding her death and what became of Craig-y-Nos.
