This week has whizzed by in a blink!! 💫 Last weekend only seems 5 minutes ago since we hosted TWO private functions in the café 🎂🥂🎉
On Saturday evening we welcomed 17 ladies for a baby shower with full afternoon tea, followed by a 40th birthday party on Sunday afternoon with a buffet & bar service 🍺🍾

Please remember to book well in advance, minimum 4 weeks notice, but longer if you want to guarantee the date. I have dates reserved for next year already 😊

External catering on Saturday at Dunstall Cricket Club. Afternoon tea in the marquee for 34 ladies, it was a long day but so worth it, lots of great compliments and a few cheeky glasses of wine were waiting for me at the end!

No rest for the wicked! Its been a particularly busy week in the Sweet Caroline catering kitchen... We have supplied 5 business lunches to our regular local customers, & yesterday we also provided refreshments for a business meeting in the Glaze Room next door at the Museum. It was a busy end to last week, providing 2 more cakes as well as the external catering this weekend 💫
Both of these are copies of cakes I've done in the past, it's so lovely to be asked to re-create something I made before.
The walking boots & stick I made out of fondant icing, and that cake is completely gluten free.
As a chocolate lover the second cake was difficult to make but not eat any of the toppings! 🤐
