🌿 DID YOU KNOW? PHILIPPINES IS HOME TO A GIANT MOUSE-EATING PITCHER PLANT

Discovered in 2007 on Mount Victoria in Palawan, the Nepenthes attenboroughii is one of the largest carnivorous pitcher plants in the world — and it’s found only in the Philippines.

This rare plant produces large traps that can digest not just insects, but even small animals like mice. It’s named after British naturalist Sir David Attenborough.

The Philippines, especially in Palawan, Mindoro, and Mindanao, is a global hotspot for unique and endemic plant life, including several bizarre and beautiful Nepenthes species.

Good evening Everyone

Sorry I haven’t replied to anyone who has written to me personally as I just wanted to put a message out to all of you in one go.

First of all i hope you are all well. The only thing I miss truthfully is our customers who have been the best to me over the years of being open. You really were very kind to me.

Social media has gone crazy with people saying we are going to re open but I’m sorry to say we are not going to re open Borneos.

We have now sold the building and by my understanding it’s going to be a Nigerian Restaurant and takeaway but again this has nothing to do with me.

I only ask that you please spread the word that we won’t be reopening as I don’t want anyone to walk in there expecting Borneos.

I would like to thankyou all again for being there for my wife and i over the years.
