🏰 A LITTLE PIECE OF LONG MELFORD HISTORY… 🏰

Standing proudly on Hall Street in the heart of beautiful Long Melford, the George & Dragon has been welcoming locals and travellers for generations.

With roots stretching back centuries and a history as a traditional coaching inn, the George & Dragon forms part of the rich heritage of one of Suffolk’s most historic villages.

The building we see today is Grade II listed, with its distinctive historic frontage helping make Hall Street so recognisable. Over the years, countless people will have passed through its doors — from travellers stopping on their journeys to generations of Long Melford families meeting for a drink, a meal and good company.

And that story is still continuing today. ❤️
