I'm a professional chef, and I started my career at the Dorchester, in London. Since then, I've worked in a variety of establishments, including the Bulmer Fox, Splinters Outside Catering, Cavendish Tea Rooms, Secret Garden and the Willow Tree Cafe. The word 'Hygge' originated from Denmark and is Scandi shorthand for
‘a quality of cosiness and comfort that encourages a feeling of contentment and
well-being’. Why the focus on Hygge? I’m half Swedish (Swedish Mum)! so I’m totally tuned in to the whole Scandi scene. I spent whole Summers in Sweden as a kid, and even speak Swedish (just!), it was an amazing experience and I've wanted to open my own Cafe since I can remember! I would love for you to visit us at Cafe Hygge, and experience the Nordic culture, which I hope you all enjoy! Cafe Hygge
