The Truffle Valley Boys are a band with a mission: to bring back the raw, powerful and authentic sound of the early years of Bluegrass music – no compromises. The group draws its repertoire and sound from some of the more obscure Bluegrass groups of the 1950s – defining years for this musical genre, which developed as a branch of Country music, strongly influenced by Gospel, Swing and Blues, and played an important role in the birth of Rock-A-Billy.

With thousands of miles traveled each year headlining major festivals and events, the band has won unanimous approval all over Europe for their live performances, and their records have received worldwide airplay and enthusiastic reviews on publications like Bluegrass Unlimited and Bluegrass Today...the Boys are even featured in a permanent exibith at the Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame And Museum in Owensboro, KY!

"With shades of Joanna Newsom's dynamic originality, Elanor Moss has a stark subtlety that bowls you over in its intensity...." - CLASH

"The biggest secret weapon in British folk right now" - Far Out Magazine

Off the back of tours with the likes of Foxwarren (Andy Shauf), Flyte, and Christian Lee Hutson, Elanor Moss releases debut album The Knife, The Needle via Merge Records. Recorded live to tape over the course of two days, the album evokes the starkness of artists such as Sibylle Baier, and the poetic sensibilities of psych-folk greats before her. A strange and shadowy record of quiet epiphanies.

Now with added support from Scottish songwriter and saxophonist Matthew Herd. Matthew writes for and performs with Seafarers, an acclaimed group of six long-term musical collaborators, who have been described as spanning the worlds of indie rock, chamber pop, and jazz.

A special night. Don't miss this one...
