We have now shut for good. The lease couldn't be renewed. It was fun.

Hi everyone, well it has been a while now since we were all told to lock down and keep safe.

We hope everyone has done their best to keep safe and sane in these turbulent times.

As many shops and some pubs get ready to reopen on saturday, we sadly at this moment will not.

This is because as many of you know we are a very small bar, and with all that is going on safety is still key..

But....... dont worry we will 100% be opening at some point in the future, and we hope every one will come and join us when we do..

As for all the venues opening up on saturday, we wish them all the best.

Leave us a like guys so we know you care.

And we will see every one soon.
Untill then keep safe and enjoy what you can of the summer.

For 12 - 4 tomorrow we will be in the bar doing a deep clean and getting every thing ready for when we can reopen.

We are bowing to the inevitable and we will be temporarily closing the Little George at last orders tomorrow night. We have business continuity plans in place and we will reopen as soon as we are able. In the meantime feel free to come in, don;t stand too close, and try our excellent ales (other beverages are available) and/or buy some of take away stock at bargain prices.

We are bowing to the inevitable and we are announcing that we are closing the Little George after trading on Saturday. We have some stock that we will be selling for off sales today and tomorrow. We have business continuity plans in place and we will reopen as soon as we are advised to.

Hi everyone, with another year under our belt we thought it would be nice to show the brewery that, along with others and the support of a few local traders have seen us come this far.

John opened the pub, now it is run by Dan & Gem and we thank every one that has helped the Little George along the way.

Barry & Derek, who started this small bar for everyone to enjoy should not be without a mention. We are sure the good folk of Stroud that drink here still thank you.

With a long future in Stroud still to come we are happy to give everyone a warm welcome - come and visit us soon. Open Tuesday to Sunday,
