It's taken us a little while to find the words, but Sally and I wanted to share how we're feeling after hearing that the diner has now permanently closed.

To see it close just four months after we sold it has come as a real shock. The sadness we feel is difficult to put into words – it's truly heartbreaking.

For over six years, we poured our hearts and souls into that little diner. It wasn't just a business to us; it was our second home. We celebrated milestones, shared laughs, supported our community, and had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people along the way. Seeing it stripped out and permanently closed has been incredibly difficult to come to terms with.

More than anything, we hope all of our wonderful customers are doing well and have found somewhere new that feels like home. We genuinely miss every single one of you. Serving you each day wasn't just our job – it was something we absolutely loved, and we're so grateful for the memories we made together.

We also miss our amazing team, who helped make the diner such a special place.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your unwavering support over the years. Peggy's Diner may have closed its doors, but the memories, friendships, and community we built together will stay with us forever. ❤️

Hi everyone!

We just wanted to let you all know that Mandy & Julie have now left the diner. Therefore, the diner is under complete new management with a whole new team. Rest assured, we are still running our successful catering service under our new name Classic Catering & Events Company

We have been overwhelmed with orders for 2026 already! We also had a sell out of our valentines platters this weekend. Keep your eyes peeled for our Mother's Day hampers/platters.

Give us a follow on our new page to keep up to date with our journey.

Take care everyone and have a great Sunday! 😊

Peggy’s Diner - 17.01.2020 - 17.01.2026

Six years ago we started a business. Today I walk away stronger, braver, and ready for whatever comes next. Mum, thank you for giving me that and always believing in me. 🤍
