Many thanks to Precision Plumbing & Heating for their hard work getting our new boiler installed.

Unfortunately we are not going to be able to open for the season today as planned.
However, guests and diners can look forward to being extra toasty next week thanks to our new boiler, that is currently being fitted.
We hope to be up and running next Tuesday (April 7th), provided that our oil delivery arrives in time!

So we have just waved goodbye to our last guest of the season. Safe travels Linzi! (Linziwalks.com).
Our B&B, bar and restaurant are now closed for the winter but we are already taking bookings for 2025 via our website (Strathyinn.com).

The has been officially inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

This not only makes Scotland’s first World Heritage Site inscribed for only natural criteria but the first peatland site inscribed on the World Heritage list.

🙌 Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this amazing journey.

As the 2023 season draws to a close we would like to thank all the lovely people who have stayed with us and dined with us this year. We have had visitors from every continent and of all ages. From babes in arms to intrepid explorers in their 90s, including the amazing 90 year old repeat guest and LEJOG cyclist who appeared live on BBC Breakfast from our breakfast room!
The Inn will be closed from 1st October until the spring. Allowing us to catch our breath then swap saucepans for paintbrushes as we give the building its off season TLC.
