Either way there's a good scoop of cherry ice cream with it and you can try it at our next upcoming evening openings on Friday 19th & Saturday 20th June along with the rest of our current menu. Or, of course, at lunch times Wednesday to Saturday at The Old Forge - bookings open!

Thank you to everyone that joined us to launch our latest menu this weekend - now available for lunch at The Old Forge and we'll be serving it the evenings of the 1st & 2nd of May, so get your bookings in now!

After that the restaurant is going to be closed until the 20th of May for some important maintenance but we'll be back to regular service after that date.

Thank you to everyone that joined us for Burns Supper at The Old Forge last weekend, raising a wee dram to you all!

We're on to working on our first new menu of 2026 so watch this space in the coming weeks.

Happy 2026!

We've just about recovered from Christmas and New Year enough to resurface and look ahead to what's to come. Our winter menu returns with lunch and dinner on Friday 9th January, and looking towards the end of the month we'll be holding our annual Burns Supper on Saturday 24th - bookings for both available now.

Thank you to everyone for all your support through 2025 and we look forward to seeing you in 2026!

Did we completely forget to put up pictures of our Halloween Dinner? Surely not... 👀

Anyway, next chance for an evening at The Old Forge is coming up this Saturday November 15th and then we start thinking about the run up to Christmas! We'll be open for dinner every weekend between the start of December and Christmas itself then it's on to New Year's Eve - where does the time go? We're also happy to cater for your Christmas parties throughout December, whilst stocks of our free time last!
