We’re busy preparing for the lights switch on tonight. It’s looking like it’s going to be a busy one! 🎄

We’ve got lot of treats for you all including our yearly free mulled wine special. Once it’s gone it’s gone but I’ve doubled last years batch for all you drunkards. You will be I’D if needed because I’m not trying to catch a case. Trying to keep it to one per person - not trying to start a session in Shen’s on a Tuesday night!🍹

Both shops are open and people are more than welcome to take their pizzas into the cafe. Please don’t make fun of our tiny tree it’s gonna get a complex but I dunno I just work here x

A few Saturdays ago we had 14 Toasties up on the rail all patiently waiting. I was going out front and trying to entice people to order other menu things as they’d be much much faster! 😅 It was extremely stressful and made us finally bite the bullet and get this super speedy Lincat Cibo Oven.

It’s great for things like heating up our sandwiches which are on display out front - our fish finger butty above is a perfect example that’s benefitted greatly from it. And of course our scones baked fresh every morning can be heated up in around 25 seconds. It takes less than a minute for absolutely everything we use it for and it’s sped up waiting times dramatically. It feels like a cheat code 🥳

Any Cafe owners who get bogged down in orders, please don’t wait over a year like we did before getting one 🫠 It’s on a 3 pin plug so you can install it yourself. Send us a DM if you are interested and we can pass on the details of where we got ours, they’re a great company who will also sort out any problems you have with it as they’re certified by the company itself.

We’ve been trying out a ramen dish today for a future menu or specials. The broth is made with locally foraged pepper dulse seaweed. 🤌🏻
Two options available; Vegetarian, or you can add on chicken thighs. It’s really special even if we do say so ourselves!

Hi folks,

It’s been a while! When we got hacked Facebook couldn’t have cared less and had a list as long as my arm of stupid steps to prove we are who we say we are. So, a year on, the page got deleted for inactivity and we can start from fresh.

We’ve been posting a lot on Instagram so if you follow us on there then we apologise and it’ll make you feel a bit of De-Ja-Vu 🫨
