⚠️ Warning to Fellow Restaurants – Please Read ⚠️
On Saturday, 27th June 2026, a local family of 8 adults and 1 toddler dined at our Birmingham restaurant. After enjoying their food and drinks, their bill came to £420.
When it came time to pay, we were informed that none of the adults had brought a credit card, debit card or cash. They advised they could make a bank transfer, which they appeared to do in front of a member of our team on their mobile phone.
As bank transfers normally arrive within 24 hours, we expected the payment to clear the following day. Unfortunately, no payment was received.
After 24 hours, we contacted the main booker, who told us he would return to the restaurant to settle the bill. Sadly, he never arrived, and we have still not received the payment.
We are sharing this post to raise awareness for other restaurants and hospitality businesses. Please be cautious when accepting bank transfers as payment, as there may be circumstances where a transfer does not complete or is later cancelled.
If anyone recognises this situation or has any information that could help us identify or contact these customers, we would be extremely grateful if you could contact us privately.
Thank you for your support, and please feel free to share this post to help raise awareness within the hospitality community. 🙏
