Well, it’s almost time to say goodbye 🥲 we can’t thank you all enough for supporting us on our journey. This restaurant wouldn’t be what it is without the staff team behind us, what an incredible bunch, each and every team member really cared about our mission and we’ve been so lucky to have them by our side. A special shout to Deb, the Welsh beauty who is just about the most amazing human being I know!
Slap bang in the middle of an agricultural town our restaurant is the number one place to visit in the area. That’s down to you guys, just a few minutes of your time to leave such fantastic reviews supported us in ways you probably won’t be aware of! We will take with us so many amazing memories, we’ve met the most wonderful people on this crazy ride, and I’m sure our paths will cross again - it’s a small world! I know you will all support Neil & Amy The Station Coffee + Kitchen - Stokesley on their journey, this restaurant wilI undoubtedly flourish with their vision to continue a vegan menu. Andrew & I can’t wait to visit!
I want to take this opportunity to give a shout out to .edge_ _ and Alkaline Kitchen, small food & hospitality businesses in the Teesside & Redcar area flying the vegan flag, all of us an intrepid bunch, braving a food industry steeped in an antiquated ethos. We all took that risk to bring vibrant, tasty plant-based food to our customers. Customers who didn’t just visit for the novelty they kept coming back, some of whom even adopted a part or fully plant-based lifestyle. We salute you! The reviews of these businesses speaks volumes. We all care deeply, we care about the planet, we care about health, we care about animal cruelty and we care about our customers’ experience. If you’ve never visited these local gems put it in your diary!
It’s almost a wrap (pakora or falafel wrap it’s your choice 🤣)again we can’t ever thank you all enough, creating and running The Green Apple has changed us forever, your feedback over the years has had such a positive impact on us. The Yorkshire Vegan will still continue, I’m not sure what is next but watch this space 🧐 and keep following 🙏

Well, it’s almost time to say goodbye 🥲 we can’t thank you all enough for supporting us on our journey. Today is pretty much fully booked and we will get the opportunity to say goodbye in person. ❤️ this restaurant wouldn’t be what it is without the staff team behind us, what an incredible bunch, each and every team member really cared about our mission and we’ve been so lucky to have them by our side. A special shout to Deb, the Welsh beauty who is just about the most amazing human being I know ❤️ Deb is staying to support the new business and they know how lucky they are!
Many of you are meat eaters and braved it to visit us, you loved it and told your friends and they told their friends and our gorgeous little vegan restaurant thrived. Well… amazing customers, the time has come to pass the reigns over to the next owners, of whom I know will take this restaurant to the dizzy heights it is destined for. The last four years have been the most challenging, rewarding and awe inspiring of our careers. This wee restaurant has gone from strength to strength, even with the covid curveball we managed to pull through, and with gusto I might add! Even though we’re a little off the beaten track, you’ve cleared a path right up to our doors. Our aim was always to bring you the most flavourful food, with impeccable service and I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved. What an amazing ride we’ve all had! However, there’s a new journey we ask you’ll embark upon, and that is the journey of Neil & Amy who will be breathing new life into this gem of a restaurant. Neil & Amy have the passion and ‘youth’ needed to take this gem to the next level and I’m sure you’ll jump on this train and follow their adventures, obviously you are all invited! Although the name is changing nothing else is! Same menu, same fantastic service, same warm & welcoming atmosphere just new faces (with the exception of the beautiful Deb who has been an integral member of the team, and now a lifelong friend)! I think the new name is inspired and in keeping with the history of this iconic building, The Station Coffee + Kitchen - Stokesley is pretty cool and I immediately thought why didn’t we think of that!
It’s with a tinge of sadness that both my & Andrews last day is 25th November, but we are both excited and know this gorgeous restaurant is in the safest of hands with Neil & Amy taking over the helm on Saturday 2nd December. I’m certain you’ll all show your support in following and liking their new business page! Keep your eyes peeled for some of the exciting things they have planned!
Finally it’s been a both an honour and a pleasure, from the team past and present - we send you much love and deep gratitude for all of your support. Welcome Neil & Amy, we all wish you the very best success ❤️
