Some bits from the last week or so.
Won’t lie, it’s tough at the moment, June is never our best month but f**k me next weeks bookings are looking sh*te, there seems to be a weird misconception we’re full all the time, this is not true, we always have room for some walk ins, you might just have to wait abit that’s all. I don’t like asking people to come out because I get it, we’re all on our arse and we’re all abit worried. But if you’re looking for somewhere to go next week, I guarantee you’ll find good food and drink with us.
1) Duck tortellini, lamb and anchovy croquettes.
2) Watermelon, feta and mint.
3) Watermelon, tuna sashimi.
4) Chicken Caesar.
5) 🦆.
6) Good rice lager.
7) My squad and my massive Swede.

Self explanatory.
If you BOOK IN to our gaff this Wednesday and/or Thursday you will get 20% off your food. I think we’re cooking really well at the moment, service is as good as it ever has been. I want to be busy not rich.
This applies to bookings only. Don’t see why I will have any questions regarding this, just hurry up and book.

Massively appreciate everyone who dined with us this week. Keep coming please, some hastily taken shots of some scran this week leaving our pass (we don’t have a pass really we have a freezer that we send from)
1) Lamb belly skewer, cult hero and a lamb belly spring roll made from the trim that we get from making the skewers.
2) Milk rolls, miso butter.
3) Pollack and rice, under used and under valued bit of fish. I really like it.
4) Halibut crudo, gnarly rice. We describe it as gnarly on our menus because someone told us we couldn’t.
5) The first person to smile in Chester Waitrose in ten years, I also think the cctv kicks in if it thinks you’re a scally.

Book in for next week. Still trying to keep it interesting. I’m not an old fella but I’ve been doing this abit now. These are the hardest conditions to operate in I can remember, we’re just trying to keep going at the moment like everyone else.
