Durham say - 'Absolutely stunning hazy IPA with Mosaic hops. The hops create fresh tropical fruit notes, particularly 🥭 and we've added a small amount of fresh 🥭 to the beer to support this. Not a sweet fruit beer but a proper New England style big IPA. Gluten removed - low gluten.'

TLDR - Buy Westie12 in The Smog for £10 for charity 🇧🇪

Remember in 2021 when we raffled off Westvleteren 12 and made about £1700 for local charities - that was good, wasn't it?

And remember when we were allowed to open in October 2021 and we sold some more for charity again - that was good n' all.

Well, Smoggies, thanks to our man in Belgium, we have have some more Westvleteren12 to sell - again for charity, with all sales going in the pot for Great North Air Ambulance Service.

A tiny pub down a back alley in a small Northern town selling* the world's best & rarest beer - good, eh?

The Westvleteren 12 has always been rated high on beer reviews, and is by some considered to be the best beer in the world.
Just as the other Westvleteren beers, it can only legally be purchased at the monestary (on appointment) or in the bar across the street. However, it often finds its way on the grey market where it's sold at high prices'

For the first year ever, we are taking the beer festival bit of on tour - Sunday 30 August is at for the first time ever! We are very grateful to the Towers Tribe for hosting us for the day.

If you want to do a walk, join an existing one - let us know.

There is a growing number of Smoggies making a plan to walk from The Smog to The Chapel on the Sunday, leaving Smogton about 1ish - it's a few miles - we'll keep you all updated.

If you are a brewery and you want to donate, just let us know - HUGE thanks to everyone who has donated so far!
