We’re lucky to have six fantastic local sponsors this year, and over the next few months we’ll be shining a spotlight on each of them. First up is Coombs Chartered Accountants , headline sponsor for our upcoming ABBA tribute on Saturday 20th June.

We first launched Romiley Food back in 2017 on a Friday as a spin‑off from the Saturday Romiley Village Markets. The idea was simple: bring people into the night‑time economy and encourage everyone to enjoy the fantastic bars and pubs we have here in the village — 13 at last count.

We’re not asking you to visit every single one, but while you’re down in Romiley, make sure to try a few of them out and support the local spots that make the village what it is. Even the Post Office is staying open late tomorrow night!

Don’t forget to follow Romiley - What's On to stay up to date with everything happening up and down the village. From quiz nights to live singers, there’s always something going on and a great mix of events to choose from.

We’ve lined up some first‑class entertainment for you this week.

6:30pm – MK Acoustic
You might recognise them from their sets at Grapevine — always a brilliant vibe.

7:45pm – Faraday
A full‑energy follow‑up to keep the night rolling.

Between the live acts we’ll have time to spin some tunes, so drop your song requests in the comments. If they make it through our strict vetting process, they might just make the playlist.

🥟 The Samosa Guy – A firm favourite with regular visitors to Romiley Village Markets ! His delicious treats are always in high demand and tend to sell out quickly… so be sure to arrive early to avoid missing out.

🍻 Hop Haus – Keeping everyone refreshed for the evening. They’ll be making the short journey from just over the road—assuming they can brave the busy cycle lane!

Join us for a great evening in the village starting from 6:30pm.

This is the first of what will be regular posts giving the good folk of Romiley (and beyond) a quick overview of events going on across the pubs and bars of Romiley.

It's a work in progress so the design will continue to evolve over the next few months until we get it spot on.
