Hi I'm Katie, married mum to 2 beautiful grown up girls and Granny to 1 gorgeous grandaughter. I am a professionally trained cake maker with City and Guilds qualifications but due to the restraints of bringing up my family I’ve always kept it as a hobby making cakes for friends and family

So now after almost 40 years the time has come to pursue my true passion and set up a small business from my

home in Davenport. I now have a dedicated cake room in our converted garage in which I spend hours creating edible treats. I have a 5 star hygiene rating and I'm fully insured and have level 2 food safety and hygiene qualification. I also work part time for a local building society so It'll be a part time venture for now. Whatever your needs just get in touch and I'll be more than happy to discuss it with you. It was hubbys birthday at the weekend but believe it or not he doesn’t like cake 😳😳😳😳 WHAAAT- I hear you cry….

Anyone who knows him well will know that his 2 greatest passions in his life are Stockport County and CHEESE 🧀🧀🧀

So I usually try to make him something incorporating both so he can blow out a candle.

To celebrate my 60th, I created this bespoke two-tier cake featuring handmade sugar models of myself and my beloved little dog Charlie who will be 16 at the weekend. Soft pinks, wafer paper florals, rose gold sparkle and lots of love made this the best cake I’ve ever made. Sometimes the cake maker deserves a cake too! 💖🐾
