For the first time in a good while we're looking to grow our kitchen team!

As a caf that's always been run quite stripped back, that approach just isn't gonna cut it anymore, and I'm eager to ride the summer wave with a bigger team of cooking folks that love food and service. It's only getting busier and we need more hands

Pros: no evenings, staff lunch, sound and creative team, good coffee, rotating weekends off (we're still working on this one but with more folk it's going to be a breeze)

We're looking to hire at least one person, but if you are someone we'd be a fool not to hire we'll make space. Our bakery next door is also very busy, and people are always wanting holidays etc. All things can be trained with the right attitude, and pay is negotiable based on experience.

We’re eggcited to announce we’re doing an Egg Hunt! 🐣

So get your fluffle together as hopportunity knocks. Each egg contains a prize, and prizes range from free pastries to one of our cracking new gift cards worth £20!

Plan was to kick this off on Sunday at 9am.
However, as the current forecast is pretty grim we’ve decided to postpone until next Saturday 11th, for a not-an-Easter egg hunt.

Keep an eye on our socials as locations across Stirling and the University drop at 9am sharp for a hopefully less windy but probably not less wet Saturday.

We really hope you enjoy it 🐇

Aren't we lucky to have such talented folk behind the counter.

I've wanted gift cards for ages and held off because I wanted to do it properly, so by joe we've done it proper.

Lovely Elly has made some gorgeous illustrations of the shops, also featured on our pretty slick new website fyi, and we've only gone and stuck them on these gift cards too. We've also got online cards if that easier

Grab them at either store, and redeem them at either store - the picture is just for fun

Needing that mid-week fix? Our cafe is open all week long!

🥞 Serving up stacked pancakes and french toast, filled bun, stuffed burritos, and other toasted classics served on our fresh sourdough baked right here in our bakery!

After an amazing first month at the bakery, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all the support, while showing off some of our favourite food pics from our cafe! You’ve certainly kept us busy and it means the world. We have some exciting things planned ahead so watch this space, but for now as always we are focusing on serving you great food, great bakes and great coffee!

We're so ready for you Saturday

We've learned a lot from last week, and the plan is to have a little bit of everything ready for opening time at 9am tomorrow

So that's heaps more ganache, Italian meringue, almond frangipane and the rest

And more bread than you can shake a stick at if you chose to shake your stick at some bread

Tomorrow's the day, and boy have we had a big day getting ready today 🥐🍞🍩

The Bakery will be open from 9am until 3pm or sell out. We've made absolutely heaps tho so hopefully plenty so people can still pick up the goods later in the day.

We have bread, pastries, buns, doughnuts, cakes, coffees and two very sleepy bakers.

Please! Eat us out of house and home!

And a little reminder, that we're open both Saturday and Sunday 9-3. Next week will be similar, but as soon as we can open more days, we will.

We're also working on a click and collect service via our new website, which will be live in the next few weeks, for those who want to guarantee their favourites.

Whoa that was a long day.

Thousand apologies if you came by and we couldn't let you in/feed you today. I've been up and at it with the police since the early hours due to a couple bams.

The good news is no one was hurt and they took a lot of things like landline phones without the docks, every set of scales lying around, and my tape measure.

The cash, of course, was taken, but the guys will get their tips, they'll not go without. I'm just annoyed I'm going to.have to go into Tesco and buy like 3 sets of scales first thing and might be put on a watch list shortly after.

Weird one. But it's given me a kick up the ass to get a security system. So if they come knocking again I'll be on them before they've found out where I hide my scales now.

Anyways if you want to come help us fill our till up again that would be lovely. We've lost a days trade so if you fancied making us nice and busy, then I'll promise not to leak the terrible angles of you stuffing your face with pancakes from our new CCTV.

I'm gonna get some zzz'z maybe see you Sunday if I sleep through my alarm. But hopefully tomorrow
