Home of The Malt Whisky Tasting Club! The Champion Shell Inn is one of Ayrshire’s oldest Inns. Dating back to the 1700's as an Inn & Hostelry, the building features a unique 'Clam Shell', some say it was a welcoming sign for weary travellers and pilgrims
Owned by Proprietor Ronnie Wilson for many years, the Inn still retains all it's historical features and as a tribute to its namesake, The Champion Shell has a lectan shell proudly displayed at the entrance, above the doorway.

Halloween Party 2026 was a smashing success we had over 50 people visit the venue during the partying hours (7-12), Thanks to everyone who came dressed up/ those who came with with makeup on & those who came for the party atmosphere!

I wish i got more photos but we were too busy!

Today despite the weather we decided to have our sunday social and what a fantastic turnout and a great way to De-stress for all the customers after a horrible windy previous day!
