GOOD NEWS everybody! On visiting the butcher today to order the ribs for the 19th I was able to procure a limited amount of BEEF RIBS. So for a few lucky BBQ fans there will be Dino sized beefy shortribs to savor :) you lucky lucky puppies

So last night was great! I am so glad that everyone loved the food at the very first eve a"Abe's Smoke Pit" popup. What next time? Ribs perhaps? Maybe a side of mac and cheese?

NEW TOYS CENTRAL! all sorts of fun new tech has arrived in the pit. I got a wireless temperature monitor.. Which is a bit like a baby monitor if your baby is a 16 pound brisket slowly sizzling away over coals. It sets off an alarm when the temperature goes outside your defined bbq limits! FANCY! And I just ordered a bain marie to keep the pulled pork hot n tasty during service. mmmmmmm hot pork

So what's been going on in the smoke pit? Well its time to get my papers in order! So I will be going back to school to get the qualifications I need and registering with the authorities so I can officially vend food to the lovely people who need BBQ!
