Curries and Chilli by Carole. ❤️

We aren't a restaurant; we're a pub... and we're focusing on on our strengths, which I think is a sensible thing to? So we'll be serving Chilli and Curry most evenings. And Burgers will obviously play a part, too. And from September there'll be a little Evening Menu that will play to our strengths.

We hope you'll like it. 🙏

There'll be a fish and chip night once a month, too, and there'll be a revised Lunch Menu that we'll serve from Thursday-Sat.

Hot Rolls will be available 3 weeks out of 4, then on the 4th you'll have Tim Johns Sunday Lunch 👌

And we'll continue to invite other pop-up street food vendors to The Oak. We'll embrace supporting other small businesses and working together.

We will still have fresh cobs and Ploughman's Platter's at the ready, and we'll also have bowls of chilli and 2 of Carole's Homemade Curries! 😍

Stafford Morris join us this evening, Monday 17th August! The pub will be open from 4pm and we'll be serving a selection of freshly made cobs, aswell as our delicious Hot Pork Rolls with all the trimmings!

Pop down for an evening of music, dance and laughs! These guys are always such fun and we're delight to welcome them once again to The Oak! ❤️

We popped down The Swan at Whiston last Tuesday for their monthly steak night... Jools and I went for the 16oz gammon, whilst Carl, Lou, Joe and Ali went for various cuts of steak.

All perfectly cooked. Masses of chips. Good service. Good price. Good atmosphere.

Great pub and restaurant: as always. ❤️ It'll always have a soft spot and there's most definitely a bias, but justified I reckon!

Try The Swan at Whiston. Homecooked food Tuesday- Sunday in another brilliant country pub. 👊
