From neighbourhood restaurants to family gatherings, skewers over hot coals have long been part of bringing people together around food.

Breakfast, meze, dinner.. they somehow find their way onto the table. And we’re certainly not complaining. ❤️

In Türkiye, there’s a phrase you’ll hear when someone can’t decide: “Gözüm kaldı.” 👀🇹🇷

Literally, “my eye stayed on it”, used when you see something you really wish you’d ordered. Probably best not to watch what’s coming off our grill while you’re still reading the menu. 😂🔥
