At Playfair’s we are passionate about three things when it comes to food; flavour, origin and seasonality. Our Head Chef, Duncan McLachlan sources ingredients from carefully selected suppliers with all our dishes prepared in house (we are very proud of our bread!). Our a la carte menu features a wide selection of locally sourced steaks and seafood cooked on our chargrill as well as some creative a

nd classic dishes for those that fancy ‘something different’ – quite literally! And you can’t leave without trying one of our decadent desserts! Lastly, our special wee guests can even choose from a freshly prepared children’s menu. If the Scottish weather permits, our terraces are the perfect sun trap to enjoy a summer lunch with friends and family or to relax with some pre-dinner drinks.
