TODAY IS THE DAY — THE SUMMER OPENER IS HERE!

Pinchbeck, today is YOUR day. Glebe Field opens its doors from 12pm and we cannot wait to see you all there. Here is everything that is waiting for you...

DJ T kicks things off from 12pm spinning hits through the decades — and performing live between sets is Pinchbeck's very own Jordan Ravenhill.

Come down, have a dance, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a brilliant afternoon of live entertainment.

From 1pm the old school sports day gets underway — we've got the 100m sprint, egg and spoon, sack race, three legged race, bean bag balance, throw the egg and welly wangling. Get involved, cheer people on and don't be shy!

And the rounders match — Red Team vs Blue Team — is happening today so come and watch or get stuck in.

Feeling peckish? We have got you covered. Sizzle Shack, Frank's Ices, Carol's Hot Food, Pizza Pod, FlourPot Coffee and Parkers Pantry are all on site serving up something delicious for every appetite.

Fancy a browse? The Little Paint Patch Company, Makerbee 3D, Walnut Cottage Creations, Cheeky Peanut and Holly Bakewell are all set up and ready to welcome you. Plus fairground games from Graves Events, inflatables and the assault course from CD Inflatables, and don't forget the sponge throwing game "Take Your Best Shot" — the Chairman is already nervous. 😄

Show your support for Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance and Pinchbeck United Football Club who both have fundraising stalls on the day too.

ONE DAY TO GO — THE SUMMER OPENER IS TOMORROW! From 12pm

We genuinely cannot believe it is almost here. Tomorrow, Glebe Field comes alive and we want to see as many of you there as possible.

Here's what's waiting for you from 12pm at Knight Street, Pinchbeck...

DJ T on the decks from the off, live music from Pinchbeck's very own Jordan Ravenhill, old school sports day from 1pm, rounders, fairground games from Graves Events, inflatables and the assault course from CD Inflatables, incredible food and drink from brilliant local vendors, stunning handmade gifts, bakes, charity stalls and so much more.

AND we have just added something very special to the day...

Introducing a game that involves sponges and water 😂😂— and let's just say the Chairman has very kindly volunteered (more reluctantly 😉) himself along with some other brave souls. If you've ever wanted to soak someone with a sponge, tomorrow is very much your chance. We'll say no more. 😄

The weather is looking absolutely perfect for it too. Sunshine, community, great food, brilliant music and a Chairman who may need a change of clothes by the end of the afternoon.

🎉 THE SUMMER OPENER — PARKING INFORMATION 🎉
Saturday 20th June from 12pm

We want your visit to be as smooth as possible, so here's everything you need to know about parking for the big day! 🚗

On-site parking is available for just £2 for the day — and every penny goes directly to our two fantastic fundraisers: Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and the youth teams at Pinchbeck United Football Club. 💛

Blue Badge holders park free of charge. 🔵

Access to the event is off Knight Street — look out for the Pinchbeck United Sports Bar sign next to the library. Follow the driveway onto site and please drive slowly and carefully as pedestrians may be walking. Please note that vehicles are parked at the owner's own responsibility.

⚠️ We kindly ask that you do NOT park down Guildhall Drive, in the Community Hub/Library car park next door, or block any driveways, vehicle accesses, or roads in the village. Please be respectful of our neighbours. 🏡

AN EXCITING ADDITION TO THE SUMMER OPENER LINE UP!🥳

We have some wonderful news to share ahead of this Saturday and we are absolutely delighted to announce it…

Joining us at Glebe Field on 20th June is Pinchbeck’s very own Jordan Ravenhill, who will be bringing some brilliant live music to the day, performing between the fantastic sets from our DJ T. 🎤

There is something really special about having local talent on your doorstep and Jordan is exactly that. We cannot wait to hear him play and we know you are going to love it. 💛

So not only do you have DJ T spinning hits through the decades from 12pm, you now have live music from Jordan woven into the afternoon too. What a day it is shaping up to be. 👏
