Many of you will know Katie, our talented The Tenth Hole Tearooms baker, whose warmth and incredible baking (and quiz night curry making skills!) have brought joy to so many customers over the years.

Following the news of her cancer diagnosis, she and her family are facing a difficult journey ahead.

As a business, continue to support Katie and her family in every way we can, but we know that the wider community will also want the opportunity to show their love and support.

Katie has set up a GoFundMe to help ease the financial pressures ahead, allowing her to focus on her treatment, recovery and spending time with her family.

On 9th July, some of Katie’s family and friends will be bravely shaving their heads in support of Katie’s journey ahead.

🇬🇧 BACK ON HOME WATERS 🇬🇧

Get ready for the summer’s ultimate sporting and music event, on our doorstep!

The Briny, along with our fellow venues, are proud to be supporting this year’s Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team Portsmouth!

This year’s event is set to be bigger than ever; witness high-speed, close-to-shore racing as 13 national teams, including the home Emirates GBR SailGP Team, battle it out on F50 catamarans.

Once the racing is done, the party starts on Southsea Common, with legendary singer-songwriters Craig David and Jess Glynne headlining the Après-Sail music programme, with Jess Glynne taking to the stage on Saturday 25th and Craig David closing the weekend on Sunday 26th.

Tickets are available now with all ticket types including access to these world-class performances!

We’re a stone’s throw away from the spectators’ grandstand, so if you haven’t reserved a table with us yet across the weekend - don’t miss out!
