There are so many wonderful ‘behind the scenes’ stories centring around the royal visit this Friday. But this one is extra special

This is D-Day Veteran Harry Howarth at this morning’s SSAFA breakfast at The Cleveland Cafe.

His medals were remounted by the Royal Visit Planning Team ( see our previous post) and I think it’s true to say he’s rather pleased 🥹🥲. Harry will be a VIP at the Royal Visit and will be meeting HRH The Princess Royal.
