We are very lucky to have “Bruce” in the cafe this week 😋

We had the joy of catching up with the lovely Kate from at the Bristol this weekend 🥰

A little behind-the-scenes story… when we were developing our Bruce Pie, we trialled quite a few different chocolate cake recipes to get it just right. Eventually we found Kate’s gluten-free fudge cake recipe on her blog. With a few tweaks to make it dairy-free too, it ended up becoming the final version we use today 🍫✨

It’s the cake layers that get SO many compliments, so a big thank you to Kate for creating such brilliant gluten-free recipes and for being such a wonderful part of the free-from community 💛
