Happy Birthday to our favourite landlord, Martin!

The man who somehow manages to be everywhere at once, behind the bar, in the kitchen, chatting to customers, sorting deliveries, fixing something, planning the next event… and probably making everyone laugh while he’s doing it.

Martin, you are such a huge part of what makes The Robin Hood what it is. Your energy, ideas, hard work and genuine love for the pub, the team and our customers never go unnoticed. You put your heart into this place, and we’re all incredibly lucky to have you at the helm.

We hope today involves plenty of good food, a few drinks and, ideally, absolutely no jobs that “will only take five minutes”. 😂

We’re doing New Year’s Eve a little differently this year… and we think you’re going to LOVE it.

Introducing our New Year’s Eve Daytime Celebration at The Robin Hood, all the indulgence, entertainment and occasion of NYE, without the late-night taxis, childcare juggling or trying to keep your eyes open until midnight.

Join us from 12pm for arrival drinks before sitting down to an incredible seven-course tasting menu, carefully created by our kitchen team to make the final meal of 2026 something really special.

And because no celebration is complete without a brilliant atmosphere, Dean John Professional DJ & Event Manager will be with us throughout the afternoon with music and a fabulously fun quiz.

Think beautifully prepared food, glasses raised around the table, plenty of laughter, great music and all the excitement of New Year’s Eve… just a little earlier.

Then at 6pm, carriages await. Head home, get comfy and see in the New Year with family and friends, knowing you’ve already celebrated in style.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS & SANTA AT THE ROBIN HOOD

One of our busiest and most magical festive evenings of the year is back on Thursday 17th December, and if you’re planning to join us, please make sure you book ahead!

We’ll be open from 5pm, with the kitchen opening at 5:30pm.

Santa visits must be booked and paid for in advance, as this evening gets incredibly busy and we want to make sure every little one who is booked in gets their special moment.
