Objections to additional parking restrictions around the junction of Storth Lane/The Common/Mansfield Road in South Normanton have been considered and decided upon. This means that these, and many other parking restrictions requested by residents and myself can now go ahead. I’ll keep everyone informed of when they will be taking place.

I know the decision won’t please everyone, but inappropriate parking has been an issue in the area for quite some time. This is about keeping pedestrians and motorists safe and should be our main priority.

Additional enforcement has been requested so please make sure you follow the restrictions and don’t end up with a ticket.

We now take telephone pre-orders from 11.00AM so please call 01773 510290 and you can collect and pay without having to queue (safe distancing rules apply).

Did you also know that we now take 'CARD PAYMENTS' so you can make Contactless and Chip & Pin card payments inside the shop for your convenience?

Please follow these simple instructions for your safety and ours:

1. Only two customers in the shop at a time.
2. Use our hands-free hand sanitiser.
3. Please keep the doorway clear inside and out and keep a safe distance from the next person queueing.
4. If possible, only send one person from your household to collect food.
5. Try to avoid touching any surfaces in the shop.
6. Please use contactless card payments if possible.

We highly recommended using our call and collect ordering system to place your orders.

Please enter the shop at your collection time and wait at the pre- order collection point.

Yes Folks, your favourite local Chippy is reopening it's doors on Wednesday 6th May from 4.30pm to 8.00pm.

We now also take all major card payments so card payment would be preferable.

We'd highly recommended using our call and collect system to place your pre-orders. Call 01773 510290 to Pre-Order from 11.00am in the morning.

Social Distancing measures will be used for your safety and hand sanitiser will be available. Look out for further info to be posted be posted later.
