Unfortunately due to the late start of these games all Under 18's will have to leave the property before 9pm.

WHAT’S ON IN JUNE AT THE BEAR INN?

We’ve got a fantastic month lined up with live music, quiz nights and the start of the World Cup throughout June!

Saturday 13th June – We’ve got The Replicas : Hull Band joining us in the evening. They will start at 8:30pm.

Sunday 14th June – Return of a Sunday session in the lounge with Rachel Mills performing from 3pm.

Wednesday 17th June – England vs Croatia (World Cup) play their first leg of the group stages at 9pm.

Tuesday 23rd June – England vs Ghana
Play their second leg of the group stages of the World Cup starting at 9pm.

Saturday 27th June – We’ve got Smooth Operator - Sax & Vocal Duo Tribute To The 80s and following into the night we’ve got the showing of England vs Panama playing their final leg of the World Cup Group stages starting at 10pm.

LIVE MUSIC THIS WEEK AT THE BEAR INN🐻

We hope you’re all ready to have a wonderful week and join us at The Bear Inn.

Our Kitchen will be open from Wednesday 2-8pm, Thursday to Saturday 12-8pm and Sunday 12-6pm.
We’ve got a range of food for you all to try, so join us for some great food and drinks.

We’ve got The Replicas : Hull Band on Saturday joining us at 8:30pm for an Indie/ Rock Band Performance.

We’ve got Rachel Mills joining us in the lounge Sunday afternoon music session from 3pm.

WHAT’S ON THIS SUNDAY AT THE BEAR INN🐻

We’ve got our Sunday Roasts back on but if you do fancy something different we still have our favourite weekly menu to choose from.

Our Monthly Quiz Night returns from 6:30pm tonight with our lovely host Kate. If you haven’t already booked but still fancy your chances of winning talk to one of the staff on the bar or give us a call.

We’ve got Sleck Dust by Great Newsome Brewery. This is a 3.8% ABV blonde session ale brewed in East Riding of Yorkshire.

The World Cup starts in 4 days, so if you’re about and fancy watching a game we will be showing the games throughout the tournament. We will however only be staying open late for the England games.

CASK ALES AT THE BEAR INN🍻

After waiting so long to get our casks back on we thought we tell you more about the ones we currently have on.

Doom Bar is an award-winning amber ale (4.0% ABV) produced by Sharp’s Brewery, named after the treacherous sandbank at the mouth of the Camel Estuary in Cornwall. It features a balanced, moreish flavor profile with roasted malts, subtle bitterness, and notes of succulent dried fruit.

Boltmaker by Timothy Taylor’s is a 4.0% ABV classic Yorkshire best bitter, famous for winning CAMRA’s Supreme Champion Beer of Britain in 2014. Served fresh on cask, it is a smooth, exceptionally balanced session ale with a warm character.

White Rat by Ossett Brewery is a 4.0% ABV hoppy pale ale that is highly celebrated in the UK cask ale scene. It is known for being a Very pale, clear, and straw-gold with a thick, frothy white head. It features bold, zesty citrus flavors (lemon, grapefruit, and orange) layered with subtle tropical and biscuit notes.
