The Oasis Tandoori was founded in 1984 in Halesowen and opened its doors in Shirley in 1991. Having an outlook in providing an exquisite dining experience to its customers The Oasis recently celebrated its 30th year Anniversary. With the addition of several signature dishes over the years The Oasis has been able to build on foundations of providing traditional subcontinent dishes with a twist of our chefs’ unique cooking styles to compliment the range of vibrant flavours from the heart of Asia. The Oasis is a family run business and the owner Mohammed ensures that an immaculate service is provided by each and every member of the Oasis team, leaving customers content and highly satisfied.

All the staff has enjoyed serving the wonderful people of Shirley and will miss you all!

We are cutting a retirement cake for MO around 11 so pass by for a final good bye and drink!

To the best customers and friends I could have ever asked for,

It is with a heavy heart and a bitter sweet feeling that I write this message to announce MY RETIREMENT. It has been my absolute pleasure and honour to have had the opportunity to serve the local residents of Shirley for over 30 years whilst meeting some of the most incredible and kind people however I feel the time is right to close the restaurant and put up my feet.

As you know all good things must come to an end but not before one last hoorah. We will be closing on Saturday 13th January 2024 and this xmas will be our last xmas. We look forward to seeing you all over the festive period!

Lastly, i’d like to say a massive heartfelt thank you to everyone from me and all the staff at The Oasis.
