Well that was some rain yesterday, it’s a beautiful but chilly day today and our soup is Cauliflower Cheese and our special is Chicken, cheese & Bacon toastie smothered with BBQ sauce or if your not a fan of BBQ why not try Habanero chutney instead.

We are now closed for our Christmas break and will reopen on Wednesday 7th January 2026.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our friends and customers for your support this year. We do really love what we do and whilst it’s tough closing for a period of time we are looking forward to relaxing over the next few weeks. To us work isn’t just about serving the teas/coffees breakfasts/lunches etc, we also get to find out how your day has gone, hear your news whether it be happy or sad, sometimes there are a few tears but mostly laughter, we get to host afternoon tea parties, baby showers, get cuddles with new born babies and watch them grow up. We are lucky enough to be a part of all that and many of you hear so much about our life outside of Emily’s, we wouldn’t get that working for someone else and you wouldn’t get that with a chain cafe so thank you for supporting us and our little cafe.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas and hope you enjoy the next few days.

Good Morning Sleaford as a town we are blessed that we don’t have hundreds of homeless but those that are in our town are feeling the cold weather and we are helping anyone who asks so we are bringing back the hanging cup, if you wish to leave a hot drink or bacon sandwich we will pass it on as they need it.
