Well that’s a wrap on Father’s Day, the Summer Solstice, and Aimee’s last Sunday before she starts her maternity leave! ☀️💙
What a truly special day it has been, I’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who chose to spend part of it with us. Whether you joined us for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, or simply popped in to say hello, your support means so much to me, mine and of course….
A huge thank you also goes to my team. While most people were still asleep, our staff were up from 2:30am preparing breakfasts, setting up, and getting everything ready to welcome you through the doors. Their hard work, dedication, and smiles throughout a very busy day never go unnoticed, and I am incredibly grateful for every single one of them. They are the heart of what we are trying to do.
Today was made even more special as it was Aimee’s last Sunday before she begins her maternity leave. We know many of you have enjoyed seeing her each week, this girl has been with me from the very beginning and I/we’d like to wish her all the love and happiness as she starts this exciting new chapter. I will miss her greatly, and so will the staff but we can’t wait to meet the newest little member of the extended café family.
Thank you again to everyone who visited, supported us, and helped create such a wonderful atmosphere on a day that celebrated the longest day of the year.
