๐ INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION OF FISH & CHIP LOVERS! ๐โค๏ธ
Today I had the absolute pleasure of being invited into Loose Primary School to give the children a hands-on experience of making one of Britainโs most iconic meals โ fish & chips! ๐ฌ๐ง
The children got properly stuck in, making their own batter mix, flouring the cod and then dipping it into the batter, before I cooked the fish they had prepared. ๐จโ๐ณ๐
We all know that traditional fish & chips perhaps isnโt as popular with the younger generation as it once was, so one of the best moments for me was watching the children sit down afterwards and absolutely love every bite of the fish they had made! โค๏ธ
Fish & chips is part of our British heritage and has been one of the nationโs favourite foods for generations. Hopefully, days like today can introduce more children to proper traditional fish & chips and inspire a whole new generation to enjoy and appreciate it. ๐๐
A massive thank you to loose primary school for inviting me in, and to all the children and staff for making it such an enjoyable experience.
Who knows... we might have created a few future fish & chip lovers โ or even future friers! ๐๐
