🏆 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟓 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧! 🏆
Simon Emerson’s journey with The Brend Collection began 25 years ago at The Victoria Hotel, where he started as a Hall & Lounge Porter.
Over the years, he has embraced opportunities to learn and develop across 3 Brend Hotels, gaining experience in portering, bars, restaurants, kitchens, maintenance and management.
His dedication and experience led him to join the Brend Management Training programme, where he continued to build his skills before progressing to Junior Assistant Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Assistant Manager and today, the Deputy Hotel Manager at The Belmont Hotel, where he continues to be an important part of the team.
Outside of work, Simon has plenty of passions. He played rugby from the age of 7 or 8 until he was 37, and although injuries eventually brought his playing days to an end, he still enjoys watching the game. He later took up golf, and also enjoys cycling, history and reading. His favourite author is Clive Cussler - and he has every book he has written! 📚🏉⛳
Reflecting on his 25 years with Brend, Simon says:
