A little bit about our cheesecakes in a jar…

Back in November 2025 when we were trialing new gelato flavours for the summer, our lovely owner and boss had the AMAZING idea of creating desserts in a jar!

We sat on this idea for MONTHS and honestly were super apprehensive to try it. Will it work? Will it take away from our homemade gelato? Will our customers even like it….

And guess what you LOVED it!

This was such a new exciting but scary idea. As you know new gelato flavours take months sometimes years to perfect and we didn’t want to let you down.

However with over 15 years of gelato experience we suddenly realised why don’t we take all that knowledge and experience and use it to make our own handmade cheesecakes in a jar. Who were we kidding, we’re Taste Of Sidmouth with award winning gelato and the best customers, we can do this and even if we don’t get it right we’ll try it again until it’s perfect! And we now feel they really are! And the BEST part every single one is homemade on the premises at Taste Of Sidmouth!

And WOW the support, the repeat business, the amazing feedback has been overwhelming. Our biggest single order being one customer coming in and buying 12 in one go!

We’ve had another sell out today and the best part it hasn’t taken away from the gelato at all.

Thank you again for your on going support with every new idea we bring to the table and thank you for your honest feedback!

We have more launches to come and we can’t wait to share them with you all!❤️

We’ve reduced our menu….👀 So EVERYTHING in store is HOMEMADE & made on the premises.

You’ll notice on the coffee side we’ve massively reduced what we offer and this is because we want EVERYTHING to be homemade 🥰
