We’re looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at The Brick.

We cook proper pub food using fresh, quality ingredients. No microwaves. No shortcuts. Just quality pub grub cooked really well.

You’ll work alongside our Head Chef, help lead the team, keep standards high and confidently run the kitchen when they’re away.

Tomorrow night - 9pm - it’s finally here!

Our kitchen team don’t want to miss the action either, so we’re closing the kitchen at 7pm - But don’t worry, the wonderful Fish Heads team will keeping you fed from 5.30pm till late.

Just a heads up… the car park will be closed, so best to walk down if you can.

We’ve got limited capacity for this one as we want to keep plenty of room for our locals and regulars🍺

🎉 Celebrating One Year of Helen & Andy at The Bricklayers 🎉

We're delighted to be celebrating nearly one year of Helen and Andy at The Bricklayers and even more pleased to share that they have officially signed a new 5-year tenancy agreement with us.

Joining us through our Darwin Agreement, Helen and Andy took on their first tenanted pub with plenty of passion, energy and enthusiasm. As regulars of The Bricklayers, they jumped at the opportunity when it became available. A year on, that same enthusiasm remains at the heart of everything they do. They have continued to grow the business, create a fantastic atmosphere and strengthen The Bricklayers place at the heart of the local community.

Helen and Andy have thoroughly enjoyed their first year and would like to thank the local community for the warm welcome and support they have received so far.

Please join us in congratulating them both and wishing them every success for the years ahead. 🍻
