Food trends come and go, but some recipes earn their place at the table for generations.

At Meg Rivers, we've always believed in baking those classics properly, by hand, in small batches, using quality ingredients and traditional recipes.

This week we've welcomed another timeless favourite to our bakery: our handmade Bakewell Tart. Buttery pastry, fruity raspberry jam and rich almond frangipane, baked the way it should be.

Buttery pastry, rich frangipane, a layer of raspberry jam and a generous scattering of flaked almonds and as always handmade in the Cotswolds using our traditional recipe.
