πŸ’š **ANOTHER BUSY DAY IN THE HAMECOOKED KITCHEN!** πŸ’š

Another big cooking day here at HameCooked, with meals freshly prepared, packed and getting ready to head out across Shetland. 🍽️😊

This week’s menu includes:

🍝 **Homemade Spaghetti Bolognese**
πŸ— **Marry Me Chicken**
πŸ₯§ **Sausage & Cheesy Mash Pie**
πŸ₯£ **Homemade Tomato Soup**

But it’s not just the usual menu keeping me busy today… 😊

🌱 I’ve also been preparing a **double vegetarian order** alongside the main menu.

πŸ’š And I’ve also had a special order with **no onions or garlic**, which I was more than happy to adapt for.

One of the things I love about HameCooked is being able to make small changes where possible so customers can enjoy homemade meals that suit them.

And the cake is in the oven too… πŸ°πŸ’š

Thank you so much to everyone who continues to support my little business. Every order, message and recommendation means the world and helps HameCooked keep growing.

πŸŒ±πŸ’š **LOOKING FOR LOCAL GROWERS & PRODUCERS** πŸ’šπŸŒ±

As HameCooked continues to grow, I’m really keen to source even more fresh, local produce wherever possible. 😊

I’m currently looking for local growers who may be able to supply:

πŸ₯• Carrots
πŸ§„ Garlic
πŸ§… Onions
πŸŽƒ Butternut squash
πŸŽƒ Pumpkins

Whether you’re a grower, crofter, small producer, or someone with a little extra seasonal produce, I’d love to hear from you.

Using local ingredients is something I’m really passionate about. It not only supports other small businesses here in Shetland, but it means I can create homemade meals using fresh, quality produce from our own islands. πŸ’š

If you grow any of these, or know someone who does, please feel free to send me a message. 😊

Thank you for helping HameCooked continue to grow alongside other local businesses. 🌱

πŸŒ±πŸ’š **LOCAL PRODUCE AT THE HEART OF HAMECOOKED** πŸ’šπŸŒ±

One of the things I’m most passionate about with HameCooked is knowing where my ingredients come from and supporting other local businesses wherever possible. 😊

This week I’ve been collecting some fantastic local produce ready to become part of future homemade meals:

πŸ₯© Uradale Farm Uradale Farm** – locally sourced mince
πŸ— Scalloway Meat Co. Ltd Scalloway Meat Company** – quality chicken
πŸ₯• Helen Thomason Local carrots** – fresh Shetland-grown produce
πŸ₯› Shetland Farm Dairies** – milk, butter and cream

Being able to use ingredients from local producers means my customers can enjoy homemade meals made with quality produce from right here in Shetland. πŸ’š

Supporting local isn’t just about keeping things close to home β€” it’s about celebrating the amazing food and hardworking people we have in our community.

I’m excited to keep building these local connections and bringing even more Shetland produce into HameCooked meals. 🌱
