Dogs welcome, Fully licensed. our furniture and interiors shop also boasts a french style cafe all set in the most amazing historical building in Sherborne. We are fully licensed and pride ourselves on serving high vibe healthy lunches as well as indulgent scrummy cakes and award winning artisan coffee. Described as a hidden gem we have a continental/Notting Hill vibe. We make all of our cakes and meals in house with love and look forward to welcoming you to sample our wares and soak in the atmosphere up here at D'Urberville opposite the Cross Keys pub at the bottom of the High Street.

By popular demand, Strictly Vinyl is back at D’Urbs.

Saturday 24th October • Doors open at 7pm

🪩🎷💃🏽🌙⭐️🎶🎺

Sets start at 8pm, divvied up on a first come first serve basis. All abilities welcome - you don’t need to be a DJ, just bring your records and a funky attitude.

Grab your tunes and come set the vibe or just turn up for a boogey and some beverages. We’ll be serving up the cocktails, naturally.

There’s some slight changes to the schedule this week folks!

We’re taking a break and closing our doors on Saturday 29th and Monday 31st August.

We’ll be back, bright eyed and bushy tailed on Tuesday 1st ready for a new week and a new season! 🍃🍂

Fancy joining the Cafe D’Urberville Clan?

A couple of our clever team are off to pastures new in September, so we’re looking for bright new sparks to join us.

We have multiple part time positions available across our working week, but we’re especially keen to hear from those available to work on Friday evening and Saturday day time.

Our little café is very fast paced so we’re looking for calm and confident individuals who have a passion for good food, good service and good vibes.

Experience in hospitality environments is a bonus, but not essential as full training will be given upon starting.

One of our favourite Monday morning jobs is sorting out our fresh flowers! 🌼 You’ll always find something super seasonal on our tables and at this time of year everything is freshly picked from our lovely Alexa’s garden!

The dahlias are just starting to make an appearance, we’re well and truly in summer mode now 🌞

One of our favourite weeks of the year is upon us!

(Bonus points now the Great British sunshine is putting on a show for us too!)

Some slight changes to our normal scheduling this week, folks. Café doors will be closed all day Saturday as the team head to Pageant Gardens to shake up a cocktail or two 🍹🍸 You’ll find us there all day Sunday too, celebrating Sherborne Pride

We’re trying our best to keep business as usual the rest of the week, despite the soaring temperatures! Our outdoor tables and chairs are in a shady spot come the afternoon and we’re trying to keep the café as cool as can be. We’ve a lunch menu full of summery, fresh light bites and our superstar staff are still whizzing around the coffee machine and serving up cold drinks with a smile. Working in this heat can be tough so we kindly ask for a little extra patience and kindness if you do come and see us this week!
