x Ashoka. We love sausages and Pipers are the best in the business! Nick and Libby have worked their magic and created their take on a Karamelised Kashmiri® CHICKEN wanger. We’ve provided them with an intense Kashmiri paste and our trademark caramelised onions. Coriander stems for freshness. Available to buy directly from them TODAY!

Meet the Sibbald family ❤️ In the foreground we’ve got Heidi and Oli aged 10 and 12 respectively from 2017. They’re proudly showing off the naan breads they made in the kitchen that evening.

They were back in again recently for dinner so we thought we’d take a trip down memory lane a decade later. Heidi (now 19) and Oli (now 21) are you’ll be glad to hear still slinging some serious naans!

In January 2026 three friends will be carrying out an unsupported overland and sea rally of 3,959 miles from Sheffield to Banjul, Africa. It may sound simple but there are a few curveballs to pitch:

The car we’re travelling in is a banger. Worth less than £750. We’ve opted for a 2004 Subaru Forester.

Team: Three idiots with no experience

Between us we can just about manage to fill a car with fuel. We’re wholly unprepared to deal with any mechanicals that the car develops on the way. Nevertheless, we’ll learn, adapt and overcome to get to our destination.
Hopefully this won’t be such an issue on the tarmac surfaces of France and Spain but once we hit Africa, we’ll encounter some of the most inhospitable terrain in the world including desert dunes, isolated dirt tracks, rough border crossings and mountain passes that are sure to throw up some challenges.
It’s also an emotional challenge as well as a physical one that will test friendships, patience and human tenacity. We’re planning to complete it in under 19 days but in the wise words of Mike Tyson everyone has a plan until they’re punched in the face.
You may be asking yourselves why any of this matters to you. The answer is we’re aiming to raise a significant amount of money for charity.
The cars will be auctioned off when they’ve made the journey and the proceeds go to a local charity in Banjul.
We’ve also chosen the following charities to donate to:
Alzheimer’s Society
David Nott foundation
Assist Sheffield

Each of these means a great deal to us as individuals for various reasons and we’d be happy to bore you with the reasons at any time!

Follow our journey! >>

Any donations are welcome via the giving page. (LINK IN BIO)

Invented in England. Perfected by India.
Old Trafford yesterday with pals for a day watching textbook test cricket between England and India.

Mum and dad spent the day before making to take to the match (because every Gujarati knows: homemade snacks > overpriced stadium food). Thepla is a spicy flatbread favoured for picnics and travel snackage.

Truly a team effort. Mum on rolling and cooking duty. Dad on initial prep and monitoring the flour ratios like it’s a controlled substance. Me eating.

Unwrapped them mid-innings with the sun out and the Bharat Army in full voice. Lovely stuff. 🏏 🇮🇳 🇬🇧 🫓 🍻 🪘 🔊 ❤️

Today in the Indian Callander we mark Guru Purnima. A day in which Indians across the world acknowledge those in their lives who have been spiritual guides, mentors, teachers, parents and or in my case, my black sheep of the family uncle. I was in my ancestral village of Darapura, Gujarat, India this time last year and stayed with him for a few weeks. At the time I had no idea what Guru Purnima was. That day there was a stream of people visiting him from sunrise to sunset and beyond to pay their respects for the yogic, spiritual and life guidance he’d imparted over the years. Last year’s photos were never posted so here you go… 🇮🇳 🕉️☸️

Wowzers Sheffield. What a weekend. The town centre was positively buzzing with people for the annual Podcast festival. Humbled to have Radio 1 royalty , (mega author) and from the in for tea.

Lovely see lots of new faces from people who travelled far and wide to make the pilgrimage to Sheffield.

Also absolutely stoked I got to hear Michael Palin (we’re massive fans here), Russell Kane, Nish Kumar speak at iconic venues throughout the city. Bloody. Lovely. Stuff.

Shout out to and all of their team for putting on this mega annual festival love
