Today's the last chance this week to grab one of our Double Chocolate & Toasted Hazelnut sourdough loaves before they're gone.

There's plenty on offer alongside the rest of the range too – Rustic White, Wholemeal, Ancient Grain, and Chilli Cheddar sourdoughs, a counter full of pastries, and some particularly good Chilli Cheddar focaccia slices fresh for today.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀

A new week begins at Wild Loaves, and with it the return of a loaf that many of you have asked about since it last appeared on the shelves.

This week's Loaf of the Week is our Chocolate & Toasted Hazelnut Sourdough. Made with a naturally fermented dough, lightly sweetened with dark brown sugar and enriched with cocoa powder, milk chocolate, and toasted hazelnuts throughout, it's a loaf that sits somewhere between bread and indulgence without being overly sweet.

Our fruitcakes this week are:

• Cinnamon Fruitcake
• Cherry Bakewell Fruitcake

Both are made with dried fruits and nuts, soaked in syrup and liquor to develop their rich flavour, with the Cherry Bakewell featuring almond and cherry notes throughout.

Alongside these, you'll find our usual selection of sourdough breads, pastries, and sourdough focaccia sandwiches.

Opening Hours:
Tuesday–Saturday: 9am–5pm
Sunday: 9am–3pm

Fresh bread and focaccia sandwiches are available Wednesday–Saturday, with frozen loaves available on Tuesdays and Sundays.

𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆!

Unfortunately, there'll be no pastries today as Welbeck, our pastry supplier, is carrying out maintenance work in their kitchen and won't be delivering their usual fresh pastries.

Not wanting to leave the counter looking empty, I got in early this morning and did some extra baking instead!

We've got:

🧁 Sourdough muffins
• Mature Cheddar & Caramelised Onion
• Blueberry
• Double Chocolate

🥖 Fresh sourdough focaccia slices
• Chilli Cheddar (with a proper kick!)
• Feta, Olive & Red Onion

These focaccia slices are a bit of a one-off for today, but I have to say they're absolutely amazing. I had two for breakfast this morning, so they may well become a regular addition!

We've also got plenty of our frozen sourdough loaves available at the usual reduced prices, plus all the usual coffees, hot drinks, cold drinks and soft drinks.

A new week at Wild Loaves.

This week's Loaf of the Week is our Roasted Garlic & Cheddar Sourdough – one of our most popular loaves and an all-time favourite with many of our regulars.

We're also serving slices of our homemade Cinnamon, Fruit & Nut Cake throughout the week. A traditional, richly fruited bake that's perfect alongside a coffee.

From Thursday through to Sunday, you'll also be able to pick up beautiful locally grown flowers from Regather while you're visiting the bakery.

Fresh sourdough bread: Wednesday–Saturday
Freshly made focaccia sandwiches: Wednesday–Saturday
Pastries: Available every day we're open
Frozen sourdough loaves (at a reduced price): Tuesday & Sunday

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀.

A bit of a late post this week — somehow Wednesday arrived before we got around to it.

Loaf of the week was dreamed up by my partner for her birthday week:
a lightly sweetened loaf with a little wholemeal flour, filled with dried cherries, toasted pecans, and chunks of white chocolate folded through the dough.

Anyone who enjoys the sweeter loaves we do from time to time — the chocolate breads and similar — will probably enjoy this one.

Also this week from Tipple Tales our fruitcake addition to the bakery we’ve got the Cherry Bakewell fruitcake back again.
These are fruitcakes soaked in a cherry almond liqueur, available by the slice or as whole round fruitcakes to take home.

Our rear courtyard is now open with extra seating and a lovely little green space tucked away behind the bakery. A nice spot to sit with a coffee and a pastry now the weather’s picking up.

And a big thank you to everyone who came down for Sunday’s bagel charity day.
We raised £416.50 for the Sheffield Palestine Cultural Exchange charity — the most we’ve raised so far at one of these events. Really appreciate everyone who came out and supported it.

Another new addition from tomorrow: we’ll be stocking flowers from Regather Flowers.
Bouquets will be available down the side gate in the rear courtyard — just grab a bunch and pay at the till.

Happy Bank Holiday ☀️

We now have a small play area for kids at WIld Loaves including a water & sand play bench & some soft mats with wooden toys for smaller ones.

We plan to introduce some fun activities for kids this summer including crafts & treasure hunts ❤️
